Description
Rain on the Ruby Mountains is about this particular place but that awe inspiring experience of watching the rain fall on a distant spot from the vantage point of a dry and sunny spot. I painted this from the memory of an uninterrupted view of a storm pounding rain on the Ruby Mountains while I painted happily out of doors at a friends home outside of Elko, Nevada.
